Mahayogi Swami Umanand Saraswati was born on 31st December 1916 in village Sutala, near Khamgaon, Nagpur, in Maharashtra,India.

Tai had expressed her wish and had guided the devotees to celebrate this day as Sadhana Din - A day of dedicated spiritual practice to Guru.
